I don't remember what I was doing in my life when this game came out because I never played it when it released in 2003..i've seen reviews and all of them have this game as one of the classics and I want to see why

you might not see this or already know this but the circle around the map, when it fills up with yellow it shows how close you are to the police coming after you, when it blinks red and blue there’s coming and will give you a fine, and you can hide somewhere so they can’t get you until it runs out

I LOVED this game as a kid. It was the first kind of "open world" game I had been introduced to, besides like Zelda Ocarina of Time. It had a lot of depth from what I remember, cool places to find coins like the backyard of random houses. Lots of interactive things. One of my favorite places was going into the factory work place. I hated the timed quests but the plot was really cool to me.
